Imagine a roll of 120 (or slightly wider, even) rushing through a film gate at 24 frames per second. Woosh. If you see it at an IMAX you’ll basically be looking at a contact print. According to The 70mm Rumour Mill this is also the first time IMAX cameras have been used in a commercial film.
